What we collect. If you sign up for guides, we collect your email address. That's all.

Why. Only to email you new guides. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by replying to one.

Where it's kept. Sign-ups are stored by our website host, Netlify, and kept until you unsubscribe. We never sell or share your email.

Cookies. This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The kit checklist saves your ticks in your own browser (local storage) and never sends them anywhere.

Embedded and linked services. Links to YouTube and GOV.UK take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights. Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To contact us, reply to any of our emails.
